Carnage is the newest book in the Lords series by Shantel Tessier (but can be read as a standalone). It’s a Dark Revenge Romance and I absolutely loved this book, I had huge expectations and it was so much better than I expected!
I was very curious about Saint and Ashtyn’s story every time they were mentioned in other Lords’s books. I was dying to finally read Carnage and OMG this book is so different than what I thought it would be but in the best way possible and if you think you are ready for it, trust me, you’re not. It was a real rollercoaster since the first page until the very last and I’m still in shock at everything that happened. I loved all other books in this series, but this one is just darker, more twisted and with even more mind-blowing plot twists and I loved every second I spent reading it. Every time I thought I finally figured out what was happening, the author proved me wrong and took the story in an entirely different direction and I absolutely love that in books.
Saint and Ash must be one of my favorite couples in this series. Their story is told first in the past, and then we move to what we know as the present from previous books and all the questions I had about them were finally answered. I loved their relationship and how different it was from other Lords and their chosens, these two went through so much, but came out stronger and I loved reading about them and their romance, they were amazing together and I hope we will get to see more of them in the next books in this series. Carnage is a dark romance so I definitely recommend to check the trigger warnings if you have any because Shantel, as always, definitely delivers when it comes to spice in her books and I found myself blushing quite a lot while reading, Saint and Ash are just fire together.
Carnage is an incredible dark revenge romance book with amazing characters, captivating plot and spicy romance that I loved and definitely recommend to all dark romance lovers. I already can’t wait to read about the next Spade brother!
